Syllable

  • a unit of pronunciation having one vowel sound, with or without surrounding consonants,
  • forming the whole or a part of a word

Chunking

  • a 'piece' or 'part of something'
  • the process of grouping things together into larger meaningful "chunks" to make it easier to remember

How to emphasize the stress

  1. Louder
  2. Longer
  3. Higher

Vowels vs. Consonants

  1. In English, a stress only exists in vowels
  2. split the alphabets and pronounce them independently
  3. never append 'ㅡ' or 'ㅣ' sound at the end of the word
